Hubcap City are now Hubcap City (from Belgium). Their members are currently Bill Taft (of Smoke, The Jody Grind, Opal Foxx Quartet, Chowder Shouters, Kick Me, and Hubcap Pretty) on vocals, guitar, and cornet, Will Fratesi (of Smoke, Front Street, The Go Devils, and Cat Power) on drum and percussion, Matthew Proctor (of Crimson Beauregard) on whatever happens to be lying around, and Terry Boling on saw. Sometimes they play with other people, too. They are currently based in Atlanta, GA.
In summer, 2009, Hubcap City joined with Brian Halloran (ex-Smoke) and others to perform instrumental versions of Smoke songs under the name Smoke that City.
